This is how to create a playlist for the iPhone/Ipad, unfortunately it does not appear you can create a playlist directly from sound files on the Apple Music app, just from music downloaded from Apple Music. However there is a way to create a playlist using iTunes and a Pc, it is a bit of a lengthy process but does work. If you know of a simpler way to create a playlist directly on the iPhone please let me know.
